Job Details:

• Work in a combined adult and pediatric emergency department

• Patient ratio of 4:1 during days, nights, and weekends

• Weekend coverage required

• Care for patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

• Work in an 11-room, 11-bed emergency department with daily census of 85 visits

• 2 years of nursing experience required

• California RN license required

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (must be AHA or American Red Cross)

• Additional preferred certifications: NRP, TNCC

• Epic charting experience preferred

• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing

• Complete orientation modules through e-learning (1-5 hours average)

• Nursys verification required within last 2 weeks

• Two references from within the last year required

• 50-mile travel requirement for full rate

• Must complete Sutter Cover Sheet for submission

• Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
