* POSITION SUMMARY:

** This position operates various types of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and auxiliary equipment to provide diagnostic images for interpretation by a Radiologist.  This position also performs clerical and transport duties in the absence of those personnel on an as needed basis.

QUALIFICATIONS:

**# Education/Licensure/# Certification:
* Current Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) certification required via American Registry of Radiological Technologists ARRT or equivalent.
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required
* Current California Venipuncture certification strongly preferred.# Knowledge:
* Minimum of one-year experience in MRI procedures required.#

Skills:

* Ability to physically lift, maneuver and/or manipulate patients and equipment.
* Manual dexterity to operate equipment controls and switches.
