Echo Technician - Fontana, California

An opportunity is available for a skilled echocardiography professional with expertise in pediatric echocardiograms (0-12 months). This contract position requires precision and proficiency in performing detailed imaging studies within a busy hospital cardiac unit.

• Perform comprehensive 2D transthoracic and 2D/3D transesophageal echocardiograms.
• Conduct pediatric echocardiograms on infants aged 0-12 months with care and accuracy.
• Administer Dobutamine Stress Tests as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with the cardiac care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize advanced imaging equipment including GE E90, E95, and S70N systems.
• Maintain accurate records using Meditech EMR and Centricity Cardio Workflow (CCW).

• Must be able to perform pediatric echocardiograms on infants (0-12 months).
• Required certifications: BLS, Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) and/or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS).
• Experience with cardiac stress testing and agitated saline contrast imaging is preferred.
• Detail-oriented, adaptable, proactive, with a strong commitment to teamwork.
• Certified Pediatric Echocardiographer (PE) credential is advantageous.

Location:

Position is based in Fontana, CA, within a well-equipped cardiac imaging unit featuring 11 staff members and high patient turnover. The unit houses 542 beds and operates during daytime hours (7:00 AM to 5:30 PM), providing a supportive environment for clinical excellence.

This contract role allows you to contribute your advanced imaging skills to pediatric cardiac care within a dynamic hospital setting. Surgical scrubs are provided, and adherence to established echo protocols is expected.
