Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with a current CA license and at least 1 year of experience for a weekday position in multiple care settings.

• Position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Work three days per week in Quincy, CA and two days per week in Greenville, CA
• Practice in acute, swing bed/skilled nursing, and/or outpatient care settings
• Rehabilitation therapy modalities
• 13-week contract assignment
• Must be able to manage patients with varying diagnoses and personalities
• Timely and accurate report writing and correspondence are required
• Detail oriented, compassionate, and adaptable to new treatment techniques
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task are essential
• RTO (Requested Time Off) is not approved unless specified in the offer

• Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy required
• Must hold a current and active California Physical Therapy License
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification approved by the AHA is required
• Must have passed the National Physical Therapist Examination (NPTE)
• Minimum of 1 year experience in acute, swing bed/skilled nursing, and/or outpatient settings
• Must be compliant with all state regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Must be proficient in computer and software use for documentation
