CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER
(COMMUNITY SAFETY & TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT - CODE ENFORCEMENT DIVISION)
Salary Range $69,503.01 - $86,799.73 annually ($5,791.92 - $7,233.31 monthly, $33.41 - $41.73 hourly)

- 3.5% COLA on July 1, 2026 in addition to regularly scheduled merit increases (dependent on performance)

- 457 Deferred Compensation Plan through Voya Financial

- $2,500 educational reimbursement per fiscal year
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Two years as a Code Enforcement Officer or equivalent inspections, investigations, abatements, land use, zoning, building, public safety, related code enforcement or administration of justice work. One year of college (30 semester units) in a related field may substitute for up to one year of experience.

The Code Enforcement division is focused on enhancing public safety, quality of life, and positive relationships within the community. Our efforts are geared toward making Eastvale a wonderful place to live, work, play, connect, and prosper. The Code Enforcement Officer will serve as an ambassador and champion for the city and will be integral to reaching this goal through education and awareness, while taking enforcement action only when compliance is not achieved.
WhatYou Will Be Doing
- Adding value to the Code Enforcement Division by working collaboratively with City residents and businesses to ensure compliance with city ordinances and codes are met.
