Loan Processor

Position: Loan Processor - Support
Location: Woodland Hills

Description We are looking for an experienced Loan Processor to join our team in Woodland Hills, California. In this role, you will play a key part in managing loan applications, ensuring compliance, and supporting various stages of the mortgage lending process. This is a long-term contract position ideal for professionals with a strong background in loan administration and mortgage processing.

Responsibilities:

- Review and process loan applications with accuracy and attention to detail.

- Ensure compliance with lending regulations and company policies throughout the loan process.

- Collaborate with borrowers, underwriters, and other stakeholders to gather necessary documentation.

- Support the mortgage closing process by verifying all required forms and documents are complete.

- Monitor loan progress and address any issues or delays that may arise.

- Maintain detailed records of loan transactions and communications.

- Assist in resolving discrepancies or challenges related to loan origination.

- Provide exceptional customer service to borrowers and business partners.

- Stay updated on industry standards and changes in mortgage lending practices.

- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency. Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in loan processing, mortgage lending, or a related field.

- Strong knowledge of loan administration procedures and mortgage closing processes.

- Proficiency in handling loan origination systems and tools.

- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Effective communication abilities, both written and verbal.

- Familiarity with federal and state lending regulations.

- Detail-oriented mindset to ensure accuracy in all aspects of loan processing.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
