Job Description

This role sits within the Digital Distribution Controllership function, based in Universal City, Los Angeles. Digital Distribution is a rapidly evolving and growing segment of Universal's Home Entertainment business unit, which generates approximately $1 billion in annual revenue.

The Manager will own and manage the digital distribution business, including supporting key month-end and quarter-end close activities as well as financial reporting processes. The ideal candidate will hold an accounting or finance degree and a CPA designation, preferably with experience in the entertainment industry. This role requires the ability to effectively multitask and manage competing priorities across multiple initiatives.

The position reports to the Director, Controllership; supports the VP, Global Controller; and works closely with Studio HQ, FP&A, Global Distribution, and Global Finance Operations teams.

Responsibilities

+ Support the Controllership team with monthly and quarterly closing processes, preparation and review of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and corporate data requests. This includes working closely with Digital FP&A, Global Distribution, Global Finance Operations, and our Digital operational teams.
