Count Team Member

Job Overview

Count Team Member responsible for collecting, sorting, counting, and recording gaming results, operating the soft count room and currency counting equipment.

• Record cash drops and verify documentation removed from drop boxes, recording on master game worksheet.
• Promote positive public/employee relations at all times.
• Maintain a clean, safe, hazard‑free work environment within the area of responsibility.
• Transport departmental wheeled carts to and from secured locations.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum one year cash handling experience preferred, ideally in the casino or banking industry.
• Strong cash handling and counting skills.
• Proficient basic math skills with ten key experiences.

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Meticulous, organized and accurate.
• Extreme confidentiality.
• Familiarity with a variety of computer systems and applications.
• Flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.

• Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time.

  Ability to lift 30 to 40 lbs.
• Frequent standing; walking; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; taste or smell. Vision abilities require close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Casino environment is hectic, fast‑paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
