Field Service Technician - Level 1

Overview

Our client is a leading renewable energy company seeking a Field Service Technician to join their solar operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level technicians to gain hands-on experience in the growing solar energy industry while working on cutting-edge renewable energy systems.

Location:

Crows Landing, CA

Duration: 12 Month Contract

• Install equipment in support of network and customer requirements
• Maintain site security and cleanliness standards
• Oversee contractors for maintenance, repair, and restoration of components
• Troubleshoot technical issues and replace defective modules
• Track spare parts inventory and maintain accurate records
• Perform preventative maintenance on solar equipment
• Maintain technical documentation and service records
• Vegetation management including herbicide application and mowing
• Service equipment and tow trailers as needed
• Work with fiber optic transmission equipment and telecommunications systems

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 0-5 years of field service experience
• Ability to read service orders and basic circuit diagrams
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Knowledge of personal computers and common software
• Understanding of Sonet and Ethernet systems preferred
• Must pass NERC CIP background screening
