Position SummaryProvides individual behavior intervention and medical support to students in classroom settings, assists individuals or small groups to enhance learning. Assists teachers with instruction and classroom management in special and general education classrooms, lunchroom, and playfield environs.

Education and ExperienceThe position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and successful completion of a competency assessment demonstrating knowledge and ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics. Completion of at least 48 college credit units may substitute for the competency assessment.
Licenses and CertificationsMay require a valid driver’s license. Compliance with District skill/competency requirements. May require a valid First Aid/CPR card.
