Job Description:
Full-Time and Part-Time Available, Non-Exempt, Category 5
Reports to:
Director of the OC Learning Center
Starting salary of $25 per hour. Flexible schedule with both in person and remote hours available.
Classification:
Academic school year, part-time
Qualifications/Requisites: Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Looking for highly motivated individuals who have taken college level courses in multiple levels of math and/or science. Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to work well in a group and independently. Flexibility and adaptability are a must. Outstanding Christian role models who want to help middle and high school students achieve their best.
Primary Duties:
- Offer tutoring in various levels of Math/Science
- One-on-one tutoring, small group tutoring, workshops, review sessions
- Communicate effectively with parents
- Maintain a professional learning environment
- Train students on Executive Function skills: organizational skills, planning and time management, efficient study skills, accountability to turning in assignments consistently and on time
- Other duties as assigned
