Junior High Youth Pastor (Full-Time)
Location:
VantagePoint Church – Eastvale, CA
Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 + Health Insurance (if needed)
Hours:
Full-time (40 hours/week, including Sunday morning services and Wednesday nights)

About the RoleWe’re looking for a full-time Youth Pastor who is passionate about discipling students, investing in leaders, and building gospel-centered environments where junior high and high school students can thrive. You’ll work alongside our current youth pastor with a special focus on junior high, while contributing to the growth and direction of the entire youth ministry.
This is not a behind-the-scenes role—we want a leader who can build relationships, develop people, preach the Word, and lead teams.
Responsibilities- Plan and lead weekly Wednesday night youth services and small groups
- Take ownership of junior high ministry (events, camp, communication, discipleship)
- Teach and preach the gospel regularly in youth services
- Recruit, develop, and disciple adult and student leaders
- Assist with youth ministry communication, social media, and administrative needs
- Collaborate with the Next Gen and church staff to support the overall vision of Vantage Point
- A deep love for Jesus and a passion to disciple students and leaders
- A teachable spirit and a desire to grow in your calling
- Strong communication and leadership skills (especially in teaching/preaching)
- Administrative strength and a solid grasp of social media tools
- A team-first mindset—you can run fast, but not alone
- A willingness to lean into junior high ministry with creativity and vision
- Have prior youth ministry experience (but not required—we’ll train the right leader)
- Can develop systems and structures to help students and leaders grow
- Have a background in creative content, social media, or event planning
- $50,000 - $60,000 salary
