About the PositionWe are seeking two full‑time Optometrists to join EYEcenter Optometric in the Sacramento, California, area. The practice serves the Sacramento Valley and Sierra Nevada Foothills communities. The full‑time role includes clinic rotations at multiple locations, with a typical schedule of 22 patients per day across four dynamic sites.

- Provide comprehensive eye care services to patients of all ages.
- Conduct comprehensive eye exams and diagnose ocular conditions.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment (retinal cameras, OCT, visual fields, automated refracting systems).
- Prescribe and dispense corrective lenses, medications, and vision therapy.
- Educate patients on eye health, lens options, and post‑treatment care.
- Manage patient records, orders, and follow‑up appointments.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team across multiple locations.
- Attend continuing education and keep up‑to‑date with industry trends.
- Ensure compliance with state licensure and practice standards.
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) with Third‑Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure.
- 1–3 years of clinical practice experience; new graduates encouraged to apply.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Strong business aptitude, self‑discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service.
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of job duties.
