Family Medicine – Primary Care Physician

Rush Copley Medical Center, in Aurora, Illinois, part of the Rush University System for Health network, is seeking a BC/BE Outpatient Family Medicine Physician to join their primary care team in Yorkville, IL. The provider team is expanding to meet increasing patient demand in a thriving community.

Position Details
  • Primary care for families from newborn to senior, covering acute and chronic conditions.
  • Access to on-site Sports Medicine Physician for consultation and collaboration.
  • Clinic schedule:
    Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 7:00 pm;
    Saturday, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm; closed Sundays.
  • Desirable schedule of 36 patient‑facing hours per week with one evening shift until 7 pm and one Saturday morning per month.
  • Call responsibility: own weekday after‑hours call; shared 1:5 weekend call.
  • Full‑time, 100% outpatient role with balanced mix of pediatric and adult patients.
  • Practice provides comprehensive primary care within a supportive 4.0 FTE Family Medicine physician and 1.0 FTE Advanced Practice Provider team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive primary care services across the lifespan, from pediatrics through geriatrics.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and support team.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
  • Participate in weekend call rotation to ensure continuity of care.
  • Contribute to practice growth during expansion phase.
Qualifications
  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board‑eligible or certified in Family Medicine.
  • Valid Illinois medical license or ability to obtain licensure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation

Pay Range: $265,000 – $345,000. Total compensation may include base pay, benefits, and incentive programs. Opportunities for increased compensation based on exceeding productivity targets; additional sign‑on/retention bonuses and relocation allowances may be available.
