- Support delivery of toolbox talks and routine safety briefings
- Reinforce safe work practices through coaching and daily engagement
- Support equipment safety awareness and task-specific safety instruction
- Work is performed on an active solar construction site
- Position requires extensive walking, standing, climbing, and working in outdoor conditions
- Exposure to heat, cold, wind, dust, mud, and uneven terrain is expected
- Work continues in varying weather conditions; however, weather-related shutdowns may occur with short notice
- Some days may be canceled with less than 24 hours notice due to unsafe weather such as rain, snow, ice, or high winds
- Reliable daily transportation is required
- This is a daily commute role; candidates must be comfortable driving to the site consistently
- Driving in poor weather conditions may be necessary depending on season
- Compensation and bill rates are set prior to start and cannot be adjusted based on commute challenges
You will move constantly between field hazard identification, PPE and work practice enforcement, documentation and reporting, training and onboarding support, incident follow-up, and safety communication with crews.
This is not a desk-only role and not purely observational. It requires active engagement, accountability, and safety leadership in the field.
