Role Summary

Jireh Farming, Inc. is seeking a dependable Farm Operations Coordinator to support administrative and operational functions within our farm management division. This role is responsible for coordinating ranch activities, maintaining accurate maps and work order systems, and ensuring documentation aligns with operational and billing requirements.

The ideal candidate is organized, technologically proficient, and exercises sound judgment in day-to-day responsibilities. Strong communication skills and the ability to take initiative while working both independently and collaboratively are essential to success in this role.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Farm Manager. Overtime and occasional evening or weekend work may be required based on operational demands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate ranch activities and serve as a key administrative link between field operations and office functions.
  • Maintain organized and accurate scheduling and documentation within company systems.
  • Create, manage, and reconcile work orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure operational records align with billing and reporting requirements.
  • Monitor and track inventory related to ranch operations.
  • Create and maintain detailed ranch maps; ensure mapping applications remain current and accurate.
  • Update acreage data and operational records as changes occur.
  • Communicate effectively with Farm Management, Accounting, Finance, Sales, and field personnel to ensure information remains accurate and aligned.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to take initiative and manage responsibilities effectively while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams required).
  • Comfortable learning and utilizing work order and mapping software applications.
  • Agricultural or farm operations exposure preferred.
  • Prior experience in administrative coordination or operations support preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to regional farm sites.
Physical Demands / Work Environment
  • Maintain office-based administrative work with occasional farm site visits.
  • Maintain ability to sit for extended periods while performing administrative tasks.
  • Walk uneven terrain during ranch visits.
  • Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

Compensation & Benefits

We offer competitive compensation depending on experience, benefits packages, and paid sick and holidays.
