Description

We are a stable and growing company based in Fontana, CA, seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day accounting operations. This is a key position within the organization, offering autonomy, visibility to ownership/leadership, and long-term stability.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, self-sufficient, and comfortable managing the full accounting cycle from transactional processing through financial reporting.

Position Overview

The Full Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for overseeing all core accounting functions including AP, AR, payroll, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and month-end close. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

+ Manage full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable

+ Process payroll and ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations

+ Perform bank and credit card reconciliations

+ Maintain the general ledger and prepare journal entries

+ Oversee month-end and year-end close processes

+ Prepare financial statements (P& L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)

+ Manage sales tax filings and other regulatory reporting

+ Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting

+ Support CPA firm with year-end tax preparation and audits

+ Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy

Requirements

Qualifications

+ 5+ years of bookkeeping or full-cycle accounting experience

+ Experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper strongly preferred

+ Strong understanding of GAAP fundamentals

+ Proficiency in accounting software (Quick Books, Sage, or similar ERP)

+ Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

+ Experience processing in-house payroll

+ High level of integrity and confidentiality

+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
