Century Group has a great opportunity for an Accounting Clerk to join one of our clients in the real estate industry. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $22 to $25 per hour.
Job Description:
- Process all Accounts Payable vendor invoices.
- Data entry and payment processing.
- Application of receipts by batch to correct tenant ledger.
- Maintain accounting records and reports.
- Filing and other administrative assignment.
- Monitor Daily Cash Balance Report.
- Maintains historical records by filing documents.
- Maintain subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating and posting transactions.
- Prepare monthly updated bank reconciliation.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
- Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences
- Must understand the accounting concepts in preparing the balance sheet and profit & loss.
- Computer literate Word and Excel, 10 keys by touch, working knowledge with Appfolio, Quick books, AProperty Ware or other computer software for Property Management or Real Estate Business.
- Attention to details.
- Bachelor's degree in accountancy or business administration
- 1-2 years accounting experience
- Real Estate company preferred but not require.
