Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a full-time Staff Accountant to join their growing company, and help in building their dynamic accounting department. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $50,000 to $65,000 per year.
Job Description:
- Perform variance analysis on balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Provide financial status information by preparing special reports
- Assist with the monthly close procedures
- Prepare account reconciliations and supporting sub-ledgers
- Research and resolve account reconciling items
- Records month end adjusting journal entries
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business, and a minimum of 1 year relevant experience
