Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $80,000 to $100,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain cost accounting records and analyze results
- Work directly with operations for daily reconciling and analyzing Pos
- Assist in month end closing process
- Help support a more complete reporting package
- Assist in creating policy and general ledger reconciliation
- Assist with special projects assigned by management, including but not limited to inventory tracking.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Advanced and Cost Accounting formal training
- 3+ years of GAAP accounting
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Oracle Fusion is a plus
- Exposure to full cycle accounting and operations
- Experience with month end close, annual audit, budgeting, financial reporting
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Ledger based ERP system experience
- Detail oriented, organized and good time management
