Century Group is partnering with a company who is seeking a Senior Construction Accountant. This position will be onsite in Westlake Village, CA. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $85,000 to $115,000 per year.
Job Description:
- Accurately prepare detailed monthly owner billings on a timely basis
- Partner with multiple project managers to ensure accurate job costing and billing detail on a project level
- Initiate and maintain project and budget data into accounting/project management systems
- Diminish process errors, maintaining contract and change order accuracy
- Maintain positive financial standings, completing accurate cost projection processes
- Build client rapport
- Enhance operational efficiencies, reviewing and processing pay applications and customer-required documents while collecting waivers and distributing funds accordingly
- Familiar with Sage 100 Contractor
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
- Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences
- Minimum of 5 years of experience processing, reviewing, tracking and general ledger posting of construction draws for multiple projects
