It would be even better if you also had...

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Experience with tax planning and audit support
• Sales and/or marketing experience

What you'll bring to the team...

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face-to-face and through virtual tools (video, phone, chat, email)
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support (certification levels vary in services)
• Mentor and support teammates

Your Expertise

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax
• Experience completing individual returns
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort with virtual tools (video, phone, chat)
• Effective communication skills in person, via phone, and in writing
• Must meet continuing education and IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma or higher

Pay Range Information

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $21.50 per hour, depending on experience, education, and location. Additional incentive plans and benefits are available.
