Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time position offers an opportunity to provide speech-language pathology services to students ranging from preschool through 12th grade. The role requires expertise in pediatric speech-language pathology within a school setting, supporting a diverse caseload across elementary, middle, and high school levels. The contract begins ASAP and continues through the end of the current school year, with both part-time and full-time candidates encouraged to apply.
Key Qualifications and
Experience:
Certification and experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with pediatric populations Ability to support students from preschool through 12th grade, addressing communication and speech challenges across various developmental stages Familiarity with school environments and working collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills aligned with school requirements Flexibility and adaptability to manage a K-12 caseload effectively
Location:
Calhoun, Georgia School-based setting
Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings for students within the K-12 spectrum Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and educational goals Monitor progress, adjust interventions accordingly, and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student communication development Participate in meetings and provide recommendations for student success across academic and social settings
