What we need:
The SEC Reporting Manager is a high-performing leader responsible for overseeing and coordinating key accounting projects and initiatives across the organization, applying generally accepted accounting principles and strong project and program management practices to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting. This role is primarily focused on the preparation and filing of SEC reports and the timely delivery of accurate monthly consolidated financial statements to senior management.
What you’ll do:
- Maintain Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance by verifying the accuracy of methods and controls according to GAAP.
- Oversee month end closing processes: journal entry preparation, account reconciliation, systems interface, and consolidated reporting e
- Prepare yearly budgets for operations by gathering and preparing the documentation.
- Lead monthly variance review meetings with management and present monthly variances to management for them to be sufficiently informed of financial data.
- Serve as audit liaison for both Internal and External auditors and manage SOX activities for the Corporate Accounting Group. Χ
- Prepare SEC reporting and consolidated management reporting
- Work with all segments to gather information to complete the disclosures in the 10Q and 10K
- File all SEC reporting (10Q, 10K, propietariojoy 8K and other external filings)
- Assist with SEC reporting requirements, including 10K and 10Q preparation.
- Identify areas of improvement within the accounting department to increase efficiencies and develop streamlined accounting processes, implementing solutions accordingly.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
Ensure that clerks and technicians are performing their duties properly and efficiently.
What you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
- 6-8 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
- SEC reporting experience.
- CPA certification preferred.

- Temporary indirect reporting relationships may exist while working as Project lead. May be required to act in senior role, providing task-related advice and direction to junior.minecraft team members.
