Product Support Manager

The Product Support Manager is responsible for managing the support of commercial product teams to provide timely, relevant, innovative and competitive product solutions to the market. Support of the business Vice Presidents, Design and Product Management teams is critical to achieving category strategic objectives.

Responsibilities include full support of product development team effort, across commercial carpet, rugs, rubber and sundries product categories, from concept to market launch and throughout the product lifecycle. The position is charged with helping to bring efficiency and focus to the Commercial product teams.

• First level of product team support after escalation from customer service, claims, sales support, etc., demonstrating a strong sense of ownership and urgency through proactive communication and follow-through.
• Support product development teams including updating product adoption notes, timelines, sample support and reporting activities.
• Ad hoc/regular reporting responsibilities. This can include generating those reports and working with relevant functions to automate newly identified requirements.
• Attend recurring meetings to process relevant information for product development teams including weekly operations meetings, variance discussions, inventory reviews, etc. and assist with follow up tasks.
• Organize product development related activities such as Voice of Customer research efforts, product (BDR, FRS, etc.), portfolio and competitive reviews and roundtable discussions.
• Maintain competitive databases for product development teams including maintaining product and folder library, highlighting significant competitive headlines, etc.
• Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships, proactively engaging partners to ask questions, seek input, and leverage expertise in support of product development and business objectives.
• All other duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate a curious mindset with a willingness to ask questions, seek context and clarity when information is incomplete, and continuously learn.

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Sales or Marketing preferred or equivalent work experience
• Sound execution skills required to assist in the development and implementation of business strategies
• Ability to work in a team-based decision environment
• Strong technical skills including Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, , AS400 and Tableau preferred

• 3-5 years of project management-related experience
• Sound business judgment: the ability to identify objectives and capable of making reliable business decisions during execution
• Proactive Problem Solving, Provide comprehensive communication that anticipates the next question, Ownership in problem solving

• Some travel required
