Shifts: Monday - Friday, 10:30am - 7pm

Location: Calgary, AB

Requirements: 1 Year of Forklift Experience Required

The purpose of the Material Handler II is to accurately transfer product, both physically and logically, into and/or out of warehouse locations, load/unload trailers, move product throughout the facility with powered industrial equipment and perform inventory counts as required.

• Pull orders accurately as assigned.
• Read, interpret and apply Warehouse Management System (WMS) order instructions.
• Stage orders according to carrier location and verify: number of pallets picked as well as stage location.
• Recognize and correct potential process errors before actions adversely affect the customer. Recognize damaged product at any point in the warehousing process and take appropriate action when discovered.
• Prepare receiving, storage and shipping documentation retaining product accountability throughout the logistical process.
• Be aware of and follow location and work center Safety and Security policies and procedures.
• May be required to train others in various warehouse functions, including the safe operation of various powered industrial lift equipment. Perform housekeeping duties.

• Some locations may require a Motor Vehicles Records (MVR) check as a part of the background screening process to drive a company vehicle as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Ability to read, do basic mathematics, understand and respond to written and verbal instructions in English for the purposes of safety, work instructions, policies, etc.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to input data into computer system(s) in use.
• Work overtime as assigned.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors).
• Ability to work independently and as member of a team.
• Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized with excellent time management skills.
• Flexibility to operate and self‑driven to excel in a fast‑paced environment.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.

• H.S. diploma/GED preferred.
• One (1 year or more related warehouse experience preferred).
• One (1 year or more powered industrial lift experience preferred).
• Powered industrial truck certification.

Non‑Regulated Tech‑Operate fork‑lift equipment or other warehouse machinery.
