Main Accountabilities- Receives/dispatches jet fuel via pipelines and trucks
- Samples and tests products for quality control and performs inspections and basic maintenance on fuel systems
- Performs routine and periodic inspections in compliance with company, customer, government and industry standards
- Transfers product and monitors storage tanks, pipelines and related equipment to ensure they are in good working order and to prevent spills, releases, overfills and contamination
- Conducts all work safely by adhering to all company, customer, industry, local, provincial and federal safety policies/procedures
- Makes required log entries of fuel transactions, quality control and maintenance
- Lifts and moves up to 70 lbs. of material and equipment
- Ensures tasks are performed in accordance with company and airline procedures and policies
- Attends mandatory training imposed by the company and airlines as per job role
- Maintains station attendance record
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Minimum 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in Canada
- High School diploma or general educational degree (GED)
- Fluent in English (read, write, speak)
- Basic math calculation ability
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and clean driver’s abstract for the past 5 years
- Successfully passes all background clearance checks related to the position
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC) and Airside Vehicle Operators Permit (AVOP) (both written & practical)
- Capability to lift/move/push up to 70 lbs continuously
- Ability to obtain and hold all airport‑required identification/security passes or authorizations
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedural manuals
- Flexible to work variable shifts including nights, weekends, holidays and occasional overtime
- Reliability – customers and coworkers rely on you
