Job Details:Location: Calgary South – Ave SE
Working Hours: Full Time 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday 01:30-10:00
Wage: $23.40 per hour
The AM Sorter sorts and separates freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet client delivery schedules.
Responsibilities- Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks
- Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load‑out
- Loads freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer
- Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
- Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items
- Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery
- Forklift experience required
- Proper scan and load techniques
- Ability to lift and/or carry up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a time-sensitive environment
- Willingness to work as part of a team
- Attention to process, quality and/or operational standards
- Successfully complete a criminal record check and employment verification to qualify
- Obtain a clear Police Clearance Certificate when required
