Parking Enforcement Officer – Calgary, AB – LAZ Parking
This role offers a pay range of $20.00/hr – $22.00/hr, based on skills and experience. Pay rate: $20-$22/hr schedule is part‑time/casual with open availability.

Parking Enforcement supports local parking ordinances, assisting customers with parking needs.
PrincipalJob Duties
- General patrolling of terminal area roadways and parking lots to manage idling or abandoned vehicles.
- Create citations and perform towing of vehicles from parking lots and terminal roadways, collecting payments and release forms.
- Monitor parking occupancies across various parking zones.
- Perform maintenance checks, including light duty repairs such as attaching gate arms, restocking ticket and receipt rolls, and resetting hardware.
- Provide complimentary services such as battery boosting, tire inflation, vehicle locator help, and other services as added.
- Ensure work complies with regulatory requirements, Airport Authority procedures, SOPs, and job duties.
- Safeguard Airport Authority issued inventory and equipment from misuse, abuse, theft.
- Wear appropriate professional office attire while on duty.
- Record and report all problems, complaints, incidents, events, and deficiencies; submit written reports to Site Manager or Designate as required.
- Ability to work independently and multitask.
- Interpret policies, procedures, and standard business practices.
- Demonstrate sense of urgency and timeliness.
- Open to feedback, differing opinions, and other viewpoints.
- Handle challenging and emotionally charged situations.
- Proficient in English (reading, speaking, comprehending).
- Make decisions independently and maintain firmness in decisions.
- Valid Driver’s License with at least two years of driving experience and necessary endorsements.
- Clean abstract driving record.
- Experience operating a tow truck.
- Detail‑oriented and accurately record vehicle information using electronic devices or manual tickets; reconcile financial operations and revenue at shift end.
- Large vehicle handling experience preferred.
- Basic tool and small repair experience preferred.
- Strong customer service experience.
- Professional and effective communication.
- Demonstrated ability to seek improvement.
- Excellent team‑building and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to push/pull/lift up to 22.67 kg.
- Ability to bend at knees or squat frequently during shift.
- Willingness to work in inclement weather (rain, sleet, snow, heat, high wind, etc.).
Pay Type:
