Senior C++ Developer (geometry, algorithms)

Join our team as a Senior C++ Developer focused on 3D algorithms for the Oil & Gas domain.

We are a leading provider of energy industry solutions, developing a cloud-based enterprise information system. The project is stable, long-term, and embraces new technologies.

You will closely collaborate with a customer team in Houston, following Agile principles. Our team is senior, supportive, and friendly.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance 3D algorithms using C++
• Work with the development team following Agile development practices
• Design, estimate, and implement features and bug fixes as prioritized by the Product Owner
• Maintain high coding quality, writing unit tests, documentation, and thorough testing before QA verification
• Keep up to date with existing and emerging relevant technologies
• Communicate and escalated issues in a clear and timely manner

Mandatory

Skills:

• Background in advanced geometry (5+ years experience in practical implementations)
• Design and implementation of computational geometry design
• Experience with large scale linear or quadratic programming
• Proficiency in C++

Nice-to-Have

Skills:

• Experience with 3D algorithms in C++
• Exposure to Geological and Geophysical concepts
• Experience with cloud technologies
