McMan is seeking a Part Time
Foster Care
Placement Coordinator to provide supervision and support to foster families in their provision of care to children. Reporting to the Placement Supervisor, you will provide education and support to increase caregiver capacity, training, crisis management and support, intervention and evaluation. This position will be scheduled Wednesdays to Fridays and does require some evening and weekend work to meet with our families outside of normal daytime hours.
successful candidate will have:
- A Diploma or Degree in Human Services
- Knowledge of the complex needs of the Foster Care System
- Previous experience working in foster care or in a family‑based setting
- Proven competency in the areas of assessment, program planning and case management
- Strong writing, organizational, program planning and interpersonal skills
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s license and adequate insurance coverage
- Police Check and Child Intervention Record Check (current within six months)
- SAFE (Structured Assessment Family Evaluation) certification would be an asset
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as required

Salary Range: $34,430.40 – $38,256.60
