We are looking for a skilled roofer to install, repair, and maintain various roofing systems on residential and commercial properties. The position requires reading blueprints, supervising workers, and applying waterproof coatings, among other tasks.

• Install built‑up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts, hot asphalt, and gravel.
• Install roofing tiles on sloped roofs.
• Install single‑ply roofing systems using waterproof sheet materials such as modified plastics, elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions.
• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements.
• Repair or replace single‑ply roofing systems and general roofing systems.
• Supervise other workers.
• Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level.
• Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools.
• Estimate costs and materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications.

• Education:
  
  Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience:
  
  7 months to less than 1 year in roofing or related field.
• Language:
  English.
• Work location:
  
  On site at 138 Cornerstone Road NE Calgary, AB T3N 1R7.
• Work site environment: at heights, noisy, dusty, outdoors.
• Employment type:
  
  Permanent, full‑time, 32‑40 hours per week, hourly rate $37.00.
• Work time:
  Morning shift.
