Position:
Multifamily Residential Construction Electrician Apprentice or Journeyman

Responsibilities:

Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components within residential properties.

Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings to plan system layouts accurately.

Handle the installation, replacement, and repair of wiring, switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures.

Conduct tests on electrical systems and parts to verify performance and safety standards.

Diagnose and resolve electrical malfunctions, making necessary repairs or component replacements.

Work alongside construction teams to ensure electrical installations meet code requirements and project specifications.

Maintain strict adherence to safety procedures, electrical codes, and industry regulations.

Qualifications:

Registration as an Apprentice or Journeyman in your jurisdiction

Minimum 3 months experience in wood frame residential construction (multi-family preferred)

Strong understanding of electrical systems and components

Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
