What Is The Opportunity?
At Aecon, people are at the heart of everything we do. Our Calgary Construction Operations group is looking for Form Setters to support our 2026 road construction season located in Calgary, Alberta
.
What You’ll Do Here:
Layout and preparation of concrete formwork.Erecting and dismantling concrete forms.Following grade to ensure proper placement of form.Reading of grades, curbs, and gutters.Safe use of hand and power tools.Work collaboratively with crew.Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.What You Bring to the Team:
Previous experience as a Form Setter in the road construction industry.Experience reading blueprints is required.Ability to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis and stand/walk for long periods of time.Ability to communicate with supervisors, co-workers, contractors and the general public in a courteous, professional manner at all times.Maintains a valid Class 5 driver’s license or better.Own vehicle to get to and from jobsite.Willing to work overtime and weekends, as required.Must comply with the company's drug & alcohol program, including testing requirement
