This is a permanent, full-time role with guaranteed 40 hours per week and great benefits!
We are looking for a commercial boiler technician with experience on troubleshooting and annual service on different kinds of hydronic boilers.
Responsibilities- Ensure the health, comfort and safety of our Customers
- Ensure daily communication with Leader
- Respond to service calls in a timely and effective manner
- Size, install, test, adjust and service natural gas and propane equipment ranging from residential furnaces to industrial boilers
- Plan, install and service plumbing systems, fixtures, piping equipment and controls - these piping systems may be used to transport water, waste, gases or hot liquids
- Maintain and repair existing plumbing
- Complete all required administration for the position on a tablet
- Valid Journeyman Certificate as a Plumber and a Gasfitter (B), Red Seal is an asset
- 3 years multi-family residential / commercial experience
- 3 years experience as a commercial boiler technician
- 3 years of hydronic heating experience
- Working knowledge of English both verbal and written
- Valid Driver’s license required
- Familiarity with computer tablets is an asset
- Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
- Exceptional Leadership skills
- Ability to work independently (self managed) and with other Associates in a team environment
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt to change and be flexible in nature
- Have the physical stamina to lift heavy pipes weighing in excess of 25 kilograms
- Ability to be on your feet for long periods and sometimes work in cramped positions
- Vehicle required
- Valid driver's license required
- On call and overtime required
