Trotter & Morton Building Technologies Inc. is currently looking for hardworking, committed
Experienced and Beginner Data Technicians for full-time commercial work in Calgary, AB.

• Install and service cabling infrastructure and devices for Data and Audio-Visual; includes pre-wiring, installation, termination, testing, reporting, and labeling per specifications and drawings
• Install network racks and cabinets in server rooms
• Ensure that safety and incident reporting procedures are followed
• Complete detailed and accurate paperwork
• Interact with customers and prospects, ensuring all inquiries are handled professionally
• Perform other tasks as required

• Post-secondary education in electrical, telecommunications, or electronics would be an asset
• Flexibility to work in a variety of environments, from construction areas to finished offices
• Physical ability to perform the requirements of the job, including pulling cable on a regular basis
• Comfortable working at heights
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills

• Experience as a Data Technician considered an asset, will consider qualified technicians and beginners
• High School Diploma, or equivalent
• Experience in a construction environment
• Experience in commercial construction is an asset
