Job Description

Seeking journeyman or 3rd or 4th-year apprentice plumbers with commercial experience to join our dynamic team. You will be involved in significant commercial projects, providing essential plumbing services and contributing to the installation and maintenance of advanced plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform above slab installations and manage copper water lines.
• Install hydronic heating and cooling systems.
• Handle plastic, storm, and sanitary sewer installations.
• Install gas lines and build mechanical rooms.
• Install equipment for plumbing and hydronics systems.

Essential Skills

• Journeyman Plumber or 3rd/4th-year apprentice.
• Proficiency in construction, plumbing, and commercial construction.
• Blueprint reading and installation of gas lines.
• Experience in commercial new construction, including warehouses, office buildings, retail stores, and commercial high-rises.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Possession of Fall Arrest and Scissor Lift certifications.
• Experience in customer service and leadership roles.
• Foreman experience is a plus.

Work Environment

Work in a collaborative environment with a daily schedule from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Thursday, and an 8-hour day on Friday. Enjoy a 45-minute lunch break, with 30 minutes unpaid. Sites are located throughout Calgary, and you will be trained for one month under the guidance of an experienced foreman. Necessary tools include a cordless Sawzall, and PPE such as steel toe boots, a hard hat, gloves, glasses, and a vest, with additional PPE available for borrowing if needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Calgary, AB.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr.
