Electrician Journeyman

Our core values are quality, integrity, and trustworthiness, which have contributed to our growth. We are looking for a qualified Electrician to join our team in Calgary, Alberta.

Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, the Electrician will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment while adhering to safety regulations. The position involves 12-hour shifts on a rotation between days and nights, including weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled work on equipment
• Manage work orders efficiently
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems in a manufacturing environment
• Install and maintain distribution and control equipment
• Work with automated equipment and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Organize work area, tools, and parts

Qualifications:

• Red Seal Journeyman Electrician certification
• Industrial maintenance experience is an asset
• Knowledge of Allen Bradley AC Drives, Control Logix PLC, Relay Logic is an asset
• Understanding of electrical safety codes
• Experience with instrumentation sensors and transmitters
• Proficient in troubleshooting PLC circuits, motors, and motor control circuits
• Ability to learn maintenance software
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Effective time management skills
