Got the Fix-It Factor? We’re looking for a skilled Property Maintenance Specialist who knows their way around tools, repairs, and building upkeep. If you’re the person everyone calls when something needs to be fixed properly
, this role is for you.
This is a hands‑on, independent role where no two days are the same. You’ll be supporting a variety of client sites, tackling repairs, maintenance tasks, and general improvements with professionalism, reliability, and a strong customer‑service approach.
- Complete general repair tasks (drywall patching, painting, caulking, minor electrical/plumbing).
- Assemble furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Replace lighting, hardware, and minor building components.
- Inspect and maintain appliances and facility equipment.
- Perform seasonal maintenance (snow removal, lawn care, light landscaping).
- Power wash exterior surfaces, sidewalks, decks, etc.
- Assist with exterior painting and general property upkeep.
- Respond to maintenance and repair requests in a timely, professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Track repairs and materials used.
- Follow all health and safety protocols and industry standards.
- 5+ years of experience in construction, maintenance, or a skilled trade environment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Diverse skill set: basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical, landscaping, and general repairs.
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and maintenance best practices (asset).
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks with strong attention to detail.
- A self‑starter who can take ownership of projects from start to finish.
- Personal tools are considered an asset.
- Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and insurance required.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift 55 lbs.
- CSA‑approved safety boots required.
