  • $36-$38/ hour (based on skills and experience/salary increases as per company policy)

  Seasonal employment, Full-time, 40 to 60 hours per week (weather-dependent), Morning, Days, Weekends, Overtime.

  5 years of landscaping experience
• Ability to Supervise: 5 – 10 people
• Transportation:
  Must be able and willing to obtain a driver’s license
• Own Tools/Equipment:
  Steel‑toed safety boots, Hard hat
• Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  Attention to detail, Handling heavy loads (up to 45 kg (100 lbs), Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Repetitive tasks, combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods, Ability to distinguish between colours

• Train and supervise crew members in daily tasks and safe work practices
• Complete safety paperwork and ensure compliance with company and industry standards
• Organize materials, equipment, and tools for projects
• Communicate with senior management regarding project progress, staffing, and resource needs
• Abide by Saunders Landscaping safety program
• Operate equipment
• Mentor labourers
• Drive company vehicle to and from job sites

• Plant and move trees
• Plan and construct landscaped environments, which may include trees, shrubberies, lawns, fences, decks, patios, pergolas, and other landscape structures
• Prepare base for and install pavers
• Plan the leveling and grading of loam
• Install, operate, and repair irrigation systems
• Construct retaining walls
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Landscaping plant identification
