Job Summary

Are you a driven, clever and engaging sales account professional with a passion for sales? Do you have exceptional client relationship skills and enjoy working with client teams to find the best solutions to fit their needs? We are looking for a Business Development Manager on our sales team who will be responsible for creating and developing ongoing business relationships with our client’s senior managers, VPs and technical marketing staff.

As a sales role you will also be selling Active

DEMAND products and services to meet or exceed sales targets in the region/accounts assigned. The successful candidate will report directly to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing and will thrive in an environment that allows them to work independently and with a sense of accountability and autonomy. We will count on you to support in development and execution of a clearly defined sales strategy in a manner that supports consistent business growth and enhances Active

DEMAND’s brand equity. Given the trust-driven nature of the senior living industry and the importance of an established presence, we are especially interested in candidates who already have meaningful relationships and credibility within the senior living ecosystem. Candidates with senior living community experience will bring invaluable momentum to our sales efforts.

Responsibilities
  • Leveraging existing relationships within the senior living sector to accelerate trust-building, shorten sales cycles, and expand our presence in the community.
  • Building credibility and trust with senior living operators by leveraging your industry experience and acting as a reliable advisor in this highly relationship-driven environment.
  • Creating, managing, coordinating, and executing on all tactics that drive the Sales Annual Operating Plan (AOP) goals.
  • Participating as an active member of the Active

    DEMAND’s sales team.
  • Providing detailed and accurate sales forecasting.
  • Attending regularly scheduled sales meetings.
  • Monitoring customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to the Active

    DEMAND sales, marketing and technical teams.
  • Utilizing consultative selling techniques tailored to the senior living industry and its specific needs, alongside Active

    DEMAND’s products and services.
  • Understanding the sales process using consultative selling of Active

    DEMAND’s products and services.
  • Serving as the primary client contact for technical and business issues for your accounts in collaboration with technical and project teams.
  • Staying abreast of the Active

    DEMAND product roadmap, as well as understanding the scenarios, features and functions within each of the products and how these are applied to address business and technical problems.
  • Understanding business and technical problems addressed by the products including business drivers, evolving business needs, etc.
  • Developing and performing effective demonstrations and presentations of Active

    DEMAND products which address client needs and competitive solutions.
