The Opportunity

Tundra has an opening for an Inside Technical Sales - Measurement & Analytical role, based in Calgary, AB
. The successful candidate will be a Technical Fixed Gas and Flame Detection authority and applications professional who reflects their corporate commitment to being responsive to our customers’ unique needs. The successful individual will have a proven track record of design and implementation of fixed gas and flame detection systems through inside sales; while thriving in an environment that is client-focused and is skillful at maintaining a high degree of contact customers through the design and order cycle.

The Role
  • Will be a Technical Fixed Gas and Flame Detection authority and applications professional.
  • Is motivated by providing solutions to meet customer needs and works eagerly to attain the maximum potential in each & every customer interaction.
  • Builds knowledge base through taking personal initiative and has the aptitude to be able to clearly communicate the technical solution to the customer.
  • Displays an outgoing personality and easily initiates conversations with clients.
  • Displays the type of personality that can easily and clearly communicate a polite persona over the phone.
  • Can liaise with manufacturing to ensure the customer needs are being met.
  • Shows the ability to adapt and can think on their feet while overcoming customer objections or sourcing out the best solution for a technical requirement.
  • Displays an assertive but collaborative approach to sales.

    Receives client orders for products and accurately communicates orders to the appropriate departments.
  • Communicates with cross functional departments to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
The Candidate
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years’ experience in Inside Sales in a technical role focused on Fixed Gas and Flame Products.
  • Ability to design, size, select and supply equipment to support all Fixed Gas and Flame opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are mandatory in English.
  • Proficient in working with an ERP System.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
