About the RoleWe’re hiring a Commercial Technical Sales Specialist to support our expanding commercial work. You’ll respond to incoming commercial leads, walk clients through product options, and help shape early concepts into well‑defined, buildable projects.
This role blends technical knowledge, client consultation, and hands‑on site assessments. You’ll work with drafting, design, engineering, and operations to make sure proposals are accurate and feasible. If you like helping clients understand technical concepts and enjoy working on unique commercial projects, you’ll feel at home here.
What You’ll Do- Respond to commercial leads and guide clients through design considerations, product options, and project requirements.
- Complete site assessments to gather measurements, understand site conditions, and set expectations.
- Prepare clear and accurate quotes, proposals, and recommendations.
- Explain materials, installation considerations, and engineering needs in a straightforward way.
- Collaborate with Drafting, Project Management, and Production teams to align drawings and scope.
- Track leads, proposals, and follow‑ups in CRM and internal systems.
- Build strong relationships with architects, builders, and commercial clients.
- Support industry events and commercial outreach when needed.
- Diploma or degree in Construction Technology, Architectural Technology, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years in technical sales, estimating, commercial construction, building materials, or a similar environment.
- Ability to read drawings and discuss technical details with confidence.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable explaining technical information in a clear, practical way.
- Organized with strong follow‑through.
- Able to manage multiple leads and projects at various stages.
- Experience with CRM tools and measurement equipment.
