Assistant Store Manager – Cosmo Prof Beauty (Calgary, Alberta, Canada)

As an Assistant Store Manager you support the Store Manager in all areas, and are responsible for all primary duties when the Store Manager is not present. You will help run one of our stores and lead a passionate team.

• Manage talent, inspire your team and ensure every customer receives a great experience.
• Help the store meet or exceed sales goals by overseeing all operations, maintaining the budget, controlling expenses, growing sales and managing inventory.
• Protect customers, associates and store assets by ensuring that all staff follows safety and security rules and Company policies.
• Foster an environment of diversity, inclusion and belonging.

• At least 3 years of customer service/retail sales experience and 1 year of sales management experience.
• Previous experience in operational, financial and performance management.
• Cosmetology license is a plus, but not required.
• Self‑starter attitude with a drive to continuously learn, develop and educate store personnel and customers.
• Passion for all things hair and beauty.

The position requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing, walking, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, and lifting of moderately heavy items (up to 25 lbs.). Occasionally lifting may be required while on a ladder. Exposure to fumes, chemicals and odors may occur.
