Seasonal Sales Associate - Chinook Center

Overview

Vans is the original brand rooted in the authentic lifestyle of skateboarding. We are driven by our mission to inspire and empower everyone to live “Off The Wall.” We seek a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store during peak season, with potential to transition to regular employment.

• Provide a high level of personalized customer engagement.
• Serve as a one-stop resource for customers, offering exciting product, community, and activity-based knowledge and recommendations.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and share relevant activity, community, and product knowledge to create a memorable customer experience.
• Achieve sales and productivity goals by utilizing available resources to meet customer needs.
• Assist in executing and maintaining visual directives and standards, including merchandise presentation, housekeeping, and product replenishment.
• Assume cashier duties as needed.
• Assist in the execution of Loss Prevention initiatives.
• Support overall store visual and operational maintenance.

• Ability to foster a customer-centric mindset and create an inclusive store environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to collaborate, work as a team, and adapt in the workplace.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge or willingness to learn about products, activities, and community relevant to the store’s customer base.
• Attention to detail and proficient computer skills.
• Physical ability to bend, squat, reach, lift up to 50 pounds, climb a ladder, and stand for extended periods with or without accommodations.

Hiring Range: $16.00 - $19.20 CAD per hour
