Office‑based Quality Assurance role supporting new construction projects through Supplier Quality Surveillance (SQS),
Owner Vendor Qualification System (VQS) management, and vendor shop inspection oversight
. Ensures equipment and materials supplied for new construction meet specifications, codes, and internal quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities Supplier Quality Surveillance (SQS) – New Construction
  • Provide QA oversight during engineering, procurement, and fabrication phases.
  • Review supplier ITPs, documentation, and fabrication quality plans.
  • Ensure quality steps are built into new‑construction project deliverables.
  • Maintain and update the Approved Supplier List
    .
  • Manage vendor qualification, performance reviews, and compliance records.
  • Liaise with vendor management systems (e.g., ISN) to ensure supplier readiness.
  • Conduct vendor shop visits for equipment under fabrication.
  • Oversee Third‑Party Inspectors (TPIs) to ensure inspection activities meet purchase order and technical requirements.
  • Verify compliance with specifications, codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Project & Operations QA Support
  • Support engineering, PMO, SCM, and operations with QA requirements for new construction.
  • Provide QA input into specifications, standards, and procurement packages.
  • Support documentation turnover, CRN requirements, and regulatory compliance.
Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure adherence to applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify quality risks at vendor facilities and support mitigation actions.
  • Promote safe work practices during shop visits and inspections.
  • Identify supplier quality gaps and support corrective actions.
  • Provide feedback to improve QA processes, standards, and guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Diploma in Welding, Mechanical, Metallurgy, or related discipline; CET or CET‑eligible.
  • Understanding of QA principles, codes, standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to oversee TPIs and support multiple internal stakeholders.
