We are a market leader in oil and gas processing specializing in facilities design for natural gas, conventional oil, heavy oil, carbon capture and new energy projects. Summary:
We are seeking an intermediate-level Quality Lead to support the consistent and effective execution of projects across our organization. This role is responsible for delivering corporate level quality support, project-level quality activities, including audits, reporting, tracking and verification of corrective actions, and supporting the close-out of quality findings.

Working closely with the Quality Manager and project teams, the Quality Lead provides direction and support to technical engineering teams while serving as a central point of contact for quality-related matters. The role supports the consistent application of quality requirements, alignment of project deliverables, as well as supporting lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.

The Quality Lead plays a key role in maintaining quality standards, improving operational efficiency, and identifying opportunities to strengthen project and organizational processes. Through collaboration with internal stakeholders and global teams, this position helps promote quality awareness, supports staff training initiatives, and contributes to fostering a strong and sustainable culture of quality across the organization.

This position is well suited to an individual with experience in quality assurance, auditing, and project coordination within an EPC or project-based environment who is comfortable working across disciplines and engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure systems and procedures are adhered to.
  • Aid in maintaining and expanding SharePoint based Quality Management Systems.
  • Development of project specific Quality Plans.
  • Lead the QA/QC effort on the projects as required.
  • Ensure evolving industry best practices are incorporated.
  • Provides direction and monitors results for compliance to client and project requirements and expectations.
  • Interfaces with client and Project Managers to determine quality requirements.
  • Provide input for the requirements of quality statistics reporting (metrics) and tracks quality metrics for project reporting.
  • Provides direction and support to Project teams and Departments.
  • Interfaces with client quality representative, as required.
  • Manage the distribution of QMS documentation.
  • Assist in the coordination of QMS audits.
  • Assist in the creation of the Audit Program for Project Audits (audit plan, schedule, checklist, reports, etc.).
  • Investigating and resolving non-conformances, quality concerns and quality observations
  • Perform Quality Training and Orientation to Equinox staff.
  • Administration of a quality auditing process.
  • Promotion of Quality awareness throughout organization.
  • Work with Departments to ensure storage and recovery of project quality documentation.
  • Manage the Lessons Learned Database and assist with implementation of a Lessons Learned process of Projects.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise


Key Skills:

  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook;
    PowerPoint and SharePoint experience.
  • Knowledge of engineering deliverable workflows and checking processes (squad checks, checkprints, stick files, etc.) considered beneficial
  • Familiarity with relevant industry quality standards
  • Strong initiative, leadership, problem-solving, change management, and results delivery skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Engineering company experience considered an asset

Education and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ of Oil & Gas EPCM, engineering, design, project delivery, quality, or related operational support roles.
  • Formal training or demonstrated experience in quality systems, project processes, compliance, or continuous improvement considered an asset.
  • Technical designation not required
