DescriptionThe Supplier Quality Coordinator supports Equinox Engineering project execution by coordinating supplier quality activities for engineered equipment and materials procured for EPCM projects. This remote, part-time, temporary contract role is responsible for tracking and managing supplier documentation, supporting inspection activities, and ensuring quality requirements are met in accordance with project specifications, purchase orders, applicable codes, and client standards. The position works closely with Engineering, Procurement, Project Controls, suppliers, and third-party inspection agencies to support on‑time, compliant equipment and material delivery across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate supplier quality requirements in accordance with project specifications, ITPs, and purchase order requirements
- Review, track, and manage supplier quality documentation including MDRs, data books, inspection reports, and certificates
- Coordinate inspection activities with suppliers and third-party inspection agencies, including scheduling witness and hold points
- Track inspection status and follow up on outstanding actions or documentation gaps
- Support expediting activities by monitoring supplier progress against quality milestones
- Assist with the coordination, tracking, and closure of Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs)
- Follow up with suppliers on corrective actions and required documentation updates
- Maintain accurate supplier quality records within project document management systems
- Interface with Engineering and Procurement to clarify technical and quality requirements
- Participate in supplier and internal project meetings related to quality and documentation
- Support supplier performance tracking and continuous improvement initiatives
- Diploma or degree in Engineering Technology, Quality, Supply Chain, or a related discipline
- 3–7 years of experience in supplier quality, inspection coordination, or project support within an EPC/EPCM environment
- Experience supporting fabricated equipment, mechanical packages, instrumentation, or pressure equipment is an asset
- Working knowledge of applicable codes and standards (ASME, API, CSA, ISO 9001) preferred
- Experience working with suppliers, inspection agencies, and internal project teams
- Strong organizational and document control skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with MS Office and document management systems
- Able to work effectively in a fast‑paced, project‑driven environment
