Samaritan’s Purse Canada (SPC) is excited to announce an incredible opportunity for a dedicated Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Specialist to join our Programs and Projects Department (P&PD)!

Samaritan’s Purse is a Christian international relief organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. • Support and maintain compliance with Health Canada requirements, including the Drug Establishment License (DEL), regulatory documentation, audits, and inspections.
  • Lead pharmaceutical quality assurance activities, including the development and maintenance of SOPs related to storage, cold chain management, documentation, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliant management of controlled drugs, including secure storage, documentation, transport, chain‑of‑custody, and disposal.
Pharmaceutical Supply Chain & Operations
  • Manage pharmaceutical inventory, including ordering, tracking, expiry monitoring, rotation, reconciliation, and cold chain oversight.
  • Work closely with Medical Supply Chain, pharmacists, and Medical Operations teams to safely integrate pharmaceuticals into packing, transport, and deployment workflows.
  • Support pharmaceutical staging, packing, load‑out, deployment handoff, and post‑deployment reset to ensure operational readiness.
  • Monitor pharmaceutical lifecycle risks such as expiry, degradation, obsolescence, and supply vulnerabilities.
  • Ensure safe handling, storage, transport, and disposal of pharmaceuticals across all operational phases.

  • Maintain awareness of pharmaceutical import/export regulations and collaborate with logistics and legal teams to support compliant international movement of products.
  • Prepare or support export documentation for pharmaceutical and related medical shipments.
  • Support pharmaceutical configuration within Emergency Field Hospital (EFH) modules in alignment with clinical protocols and formulary standards.
International & Disaster Response Support
  • Serve as the primary pharmacy point of contact for assigned Country Offices, providing guidance on pharmaceutical usage, inventory management, regulatory compliance, deployment preparation, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide training and technical support to Country Office staff on pharmaceutical quality, safe handling, storage, and compliant workflows.
  • Support global disaster response activities and as required, serve on the Incident Management Team (IMT) or Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) in a pharmacy or medical supply chain…
