Nurse Practitioner; NP – Functional Medicine

A growing functional medicine clinic in Calgary is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join a wellness-focused, patient-first healthcare team. Position Overview

The NP will be central to patient assessments, care planning, and ongoing management within a functional and preventive medicine framework. You’ll have the space to build meaningful relationships with patients, explore root-cause pathways, and collaborate closely with a physician and multidisciplinary support team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments, evaluations, and follow-ups

• Order, interpret, and review diagnostic and functional lab tests

• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans

• Educate patients on lifestyle optimization, nutrition, and preventive strategies

• Work in partnership with the Physician and clinical support staff

• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and high clinical standards

Qualifications

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner in Alberta (active and in good standing)

• Experience or strong interest in functional, integrative, or preventive medicine

• Excellent communication, mentoring, and patient care skills

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
